Ginger Snap Martini, Simplified

This one is more appropriate for shooting pool on a cold winter night than for next to the pool on a hot summer day. Merry Christmas to you!

Ingredients

  • 2 parts ginger liqueur plus more for rimming the glasses
  • 3 gingersnap cookies, crushed into crumbs
  • 1 part vodka
  • 1 part orange liqueur
  • pinch cinnamon

Instructions

  • Crumble the cookies into fine crumbs and transfer to a bowl large enough to accommodate the rim of a martini glass. Pour a shallow layer of ginger liquor into another bowl.
  • Coat the rim of your martini glass with ginger liqueur. Then, roll it in the crushed ginger snap cookies. Set aside.
  • Combine the liquid ingredients with ice in a shaker. Shake and strain into your glass. Dust with a pinch of cinnamon and enjoy.
