Ginger Snap Martini, Simplified

I included my Ginger Snap Martini recipe in “Changing The Game” as one of the changeups to the roster of “summer” cocktails I offer in Chapter 6. We were introduced to a similar verson of this cocktail by close friends at their Christmas party many years ago and have enjoyed my version(s) ever since, primarily during the winter months. There’s a little gift for you in my online version of this recipe… dust it with a pinch of cinnamon to further meld and soften the flavors. We’ll be serving our Ginger Snap Marty this year to our family and friends who join us on Christmas day.

And this recipe is just another reason I keep a mortar and pestle in the kitchen.

For another changeup, you can try this version with pear flavored vodka and a pinch of cardamom in place of the cinnamon.

Best wishes for a safe, happy and enjoyable holiday season from our family to yours.

Ginger Snap Martini, Simplified

This one is more appropriate for shooting pool on a cold winter night than for next to the pool on a hot summer day. Merry Christmas to you!
